Warwickshire’s second annual Thrift Week is well underway with a packed programme of frugal fun, community events, competitions and offers.
Whether you want to learn about sustainable living and smart spending, fancy trying your hand at upcycling or you simply want to get involved with your community, there is something for everyone.
You can get involved in a number of ways:
Attend an event
There’s a huge range of events running throughout Thrift Week. We’ve got pop up energy clinics and free lunches (yes – there is such a thing!) plus furniture upcycling, a community repair café and a good old-fashioned table top sale. Take a look at our events listings to see what you fancy coming to. The majority are free and drop-in.
Enter a competition
Win one of 3 iPads by entering our Food Recycling Competition.
During Thrift Week, local traders are running a variety of offers and promotions that are perfect for thrifty shoppers and bargain hunters! Check out our offers page and print any vouchers that take your fancy.
Run your own event
It’s not too late to run your own event during Thrift Week. So if you want to organise a last-minute thrifty workshop or run a jumble sale, send us over the details and we’ll put them up on our events pages.
